Most consults performed in our practice by the doctors are bulk billed.

For those without a valid Medicare Card, a payment is required:

  • Standard consult $90(cash)/$92(card)
  • Long consultation $125(cash)/$127(card)
  • Surgical procedure fee may apply

After hours (After 1pm on Saturdays)

  • Standard Consultation (A/H) $90
  • Long consultation (A/H) $12

Weekend and Public Holiday

  • Consult <20mins = $95 Cash / $97 Card
  • Consult < 40mins = $135 Cash / $137 Card

 

IRON INFUSIONS

  • Facility fee of $50 for concessional card holder(only for regular patients who's been in the surgery over the past 12 months AND registered to MyMedicare at our practice) and $100 for non-concessional card holder(and new patients)
  • If you hold a concession card but you are also a new patient in our practice, you will still pay $100.
  • Please speak to one of our receptionists on duty for more information.

VACCINES

  • Most childhood vaccination and flu vaccines are free if you are eligible.
  • We will notify you if there is a fee for the vaccine.
  • Travel vaccines are not funded by the Health Department

 

OTHER CHARGES

 

For any service that is inadequately or not funded by Medicare, the doctor will advise you of the fee before the service is provided.

Emerald Medical Centre Quakers Hill

 

The practice provides bulk billing (no gap charge) of consultations (for valid Medicare Card holders). Other bulk-billed services include:

  • childhood immunisations
  • flu and pneumonia vaccination (if you meet the criteria)
  • cryotherapy
  • Skin cancer checks

For those without a Medicare card or veteran’s affairs card cash payment is required:
